Bonding is a method of aggregating multiple network interfaces into a single logical bonded interface.
Oracle best practice is to use bonding using round-robin and load balancing. The change is to improve High Availability.
Oracle does not recommend setting the CLUSTER_INTERCONNECTS parameter, which overrides the default interconnect settings at the operating system level. Instead, the best practice is to use operating system bonding techniques (also referred to as NIC (network interface card) bonding). Platform-specific Oracle RAC installation guide need to verified for information about setting up NIC bonding at the operating system level.
Check speed of interconnect (bonding).
# cd /proc/net/bonding/
# cat bond0
